Leap of Faith

Well here it goes - I've decided to start a blog. I haven't written one of these since I was in high school, but I figured that it would be a good way to document the next year of my life. I will be volunteering at Sunrise Children's Home, an orphanage in the tiny village of Uhekule in Tanzania. The whole journey leading up to this has been quite an amazing experience, and I know that this is what I am called to do. So on January 7th, I will be taking a giant leap of faith as I board a plane bound for a continent I've never stepped foot on, a country I've barely heard of, and a village that isn't even on a map. I'm not sure what all I will be doing once I get there besides teaching English, feeding chickens, and planting potatoes, but I know that God has a plan. I'm excited to find out what it is :)
